700m²Mini hockey astroSchool
Project Overview
Multiturf installed a 700m² mini hockey astro at Glenwood Preparatory School in Durban.
Mini hockey is played on a smaller field, which suits prep school pupils and fits on school sites without room for a full-size pitch. The astro has side boards and extra line markings so it can also be used for other sports and PE.
Why Astro for Hockey
Hockey needs a fast, even ball roll that grass can’t give consistently. An astro surface plays the same every day, and it is low maintenance for the school’s grounds staff.
